In class or at work or even in the comfort of your loving relationship, sure, you're protected. By your clothes, by your secrecy, by your ability to lie through your teeth. But what if you knew one of them knew? What if they all knew? Somewhere out there, amid all those smiling faces, somebody knows your secrets. Isn't it exciting to think about ceding that information advantage to them, about making yourself vulnerable to them?

Pick a name at random from your classmates, your co-workers, or somebody else. I could very well be that guy. Imagine you have the chance to confess your deepest vulnerabilities to one of them at random, but you won't know who. Maybe it's just that thrill, or maybe it's a chance to share each other's secrets and bond a bit over that shared vulnerability. If it makes you feel better, I'll share mine.
