I've been hard on my luck, prices are so high in the city and I really need a place to stay. Answering an add online didn't add up, price was to good to be true. It said special conditions may apply......
As I'm signing the lease, I ask about any specific arrangements detailed in the contract. "Says here daily foot massages and worship may be required?" You assure me that's a little clause and nothing to worry about. "May be restrained, beaten, used, choked, and stepped on." Wtf I ask? You assure me that's specifically only for extreme circumstances nothing to worry about.
After moving in I forget all about this. I live happily for a few months, going to the pool, doing my laundry, maybe having a party here or there. I like this place, and has everything I need, every day I pass your office.
Then one day I'm relaxing when my door opens unexpectedly. Landlady has the keys and walks right in asking if I remember the terms I signed, if not time to leave! I like it here, so I ask what I can do to stay. 😀
