I'm going to preface this by saying it doesn't have to play out in an isolated vault. It can play out on an island, in a village or even a city. I am very flexible here.

Backstory

Science and research had long been a staple of humanity, being able to progress and develop from hunter gatherers to being able to construct massive cities was beyond anyone could imagine. During the mid 21st centry, the progress halted significantly. Scientists blamed the ethics committee and said that they were rejecting any sort of experiment that would give true value. After lengthy discussions they came up with a solution, isolated experiments far away from civilization. They created a company called vault-tech which constructed vaults they claimed were in the event of a nuclear war, however their true purpose was more sinister. They recruited test subjects under the pretext of them testing out the vaults. Even though the test subjects were aware of the length they would stay down there and in what conditions, none of them could've known the entire truth.

The vaults themselves were of good construction and could support around 100 people. A large door made of thick steel prevented anyone from entering or from exiting the experiments. The insides were decorated differently depending on the vaults but they all had different rooms for different themes, a dining hall, a kitchen, food processing, high tech farming. For most, it was luxury, for some, it was a downgrade from their normally luxurious lifestyle. An artificial intelligence called the overseer dictated the experiment to make sure it ran smoothly. This AI controlled everything pertaining to the survival of the group and what they had to do on the inside. It was the AIs job to detect whether the experiment was a success, mild success, mild failure or failure. It made sure all equipment was working and if it didn't it released repair robots to fix them. Each vault had its own nuclear reactor ensuring limitless electricity and energy.

The scenario

This is obviously heavily inspired by the Fallout universe, however I do not want it to take place in the Fallout universe, I imagine it taking place in some other one where nuclear war doesn't happen and where society is much like ours. So how many vaults and what kind of experiments was going on? A lot of them, over a thousand vaults were built scattered across the US but also some being built abroad. I'll list some of the ones that were known.

1. The reference vault was a normal vault containing 50 randomly selected women and 50 randomly selected men. This vault was used both as a reference to see how people would behave in normal circumstances but also to see how they survived isolated for 10 years time.

2. One vault was filled with 9 women and 1 man. The purpose of the experiment was to see whether the man would come on top or if the women would.

3. One vault didn't contain any clothes, forcing the inhabitants to be nudists for their stay.

4. One vault had their water supply spiked with a drug that removed any STDs. This was broadcasted to the population inside the vault.

5. One vault was filled with only MILFs and college-aged guys. Another vault with the opposte arrangement was also made.

6. One vault was given a secret elevator up to the surface. The overseer announced counting of all of the inhabitants at precisely 9pm every day.

7. In one vault, the overseer gave the inhabitants a strict routine they had to follow, testing obedience.

8. One vault was filled with celebrities of varying status.

9. One vault had their inhabitants tied up for between 16-20 hours every day. This was done by the beds when they went to sleep. The overseer made sure to punish anyone who would not strap themselves on at night, to make sure everyone followed.

10. One vault had a large screen in the middle of the vault. The screen contained a large scoreboard with all of the participants' names and a score, denominated in dollars. The overseer announced that everyone would recieve their earned money at the end of the experiment as a bonus and that sexual interactions increased the score.

Some additional details

I write about 2-3 solid paragraphs per reply but it depends on how much is happening. I am looking for someone who is interested in world building and take things one at a time. I am definitely looking for someone literate and creative. I am not going to constantly give you a nice road to follow, instead it will be up to you to continue the story how you see fit. I am open to any suggestions or changes so don't be shy, as long as the theme stays the same I am open to a lot. I am also open for other ideas that share my kinks.
