Let's face it, Netflix is not giving people a lot of reasons to stay subscribed. Between the occasional Oscar-bait movie and clumsy attempts at woke content, I often find myself just watching the same old shows over and over again. Well, that's almost true. Netflix sure knows how to create compelling trash-TV. Reality-tv, to be precise. A bunch of hot Millenials and Zoomers stuck on Islands, and fancy yachts; Either not allowed to fuck like horny rabbits they are, meant to manipulate each other till everyone needs therapy, or having to marry some person they have never seen before. Yeah, none of these are new concepts, but they work.
Or did work, rather. People are still jumping ship, the legal ship that is, putting on their pirate hats aaaand you get the idea. Anyway, some executives as imaginative as they were imaginary sat in a board room one day, and one of them had an idea just terrible enough to work.
Now here we are, in this slightly altered universe where Netflix is producing Adult content.
"Hi Netflixers, I am Nick Lachey, and you might know me as the host of Love Is Blind, Perfect Match, and the Ultimatum. Now, I am standing here, in this beautiful compound in South Africa, to introduce yet another scorching hot hit show, where Sex is all that counts. So it's like any other show we made, but we're honest about it now!"
Nick Lachey glanced over at the producer. A quick thumbs-up confirmed that after the fifth attempt, they had finally gotten what they wanted. Off to a good start. While a make-up artist rushed close to pad droplets of sweat off his boomer forehead, Nick looked down at the note cards he had pulled from the pocket of his bleached-out jeans. The countdown began, and seconds later, Nick once more featured his signature run-of-the-mill smile.
"Here, we will have a crew of singles from all over the world! Every week, we will follow one woman who will get to spend intimate nights with a whole group of people. At the end of the week, she gets to choose her favorite fuck - and he gets ten grand! Then, we will bring a new girl for the next week and start it all over again. The kicker? Our girl also gets to eliminate one guy who she really didn't vibe with, and we will bring in another hot single to take their place. We got some surprises prepared, of course... take a look now!"
"Right. That was great, Nick! Here, we'll show them a reel of some of the contestants and some of the stages. Be a little cheeky with the rest, alright?"
Once more, the countdown began, and Nick was ready as ever.
"Our contestants won't ever see each other... not until they watch this show, just like all of you are! They will have their intimate, fun dates in darkrooms, each one with a different theme designed by the girl of the week. These rooms show off their personality, their interests - and the contestants will have to adapt to that if they want to be crowned the BEST BLIND FUCK. We have established that Love can be blind - but can sex be blind as well? Can these people have sexual attraction without ever seeing the other? I am sure that we can find out together! Let's introduce our first contestant!
So, I am gonna try something a bit different today. I have been in the mood to write shorter, more diverse scenes recently while still getting to explore one character, and I am rather confident that this could work. In case you haven't caught what I am up to: I want to write these days of a week with different co-authors... no need for them to ever connect with each other at all - and I will hopefully get to write a fun, concise narrative. You either get a fun darkroom scene out of it, or, if we mesh well, we will write another one where you get to keep your character and I write a new one. If this sounds fun to you, either because of the semi-competitive nature or because you just love the idea of two people fucking without knowing what the other one looks like, hit me up.
There are some rules, however:
Notes: Limited 3rd narrators; Consensual stories only; Visual references for characters/outfits and places appreciated; longer (4-8para) format preferred; PM only
As for references: To keep up the spirit of this prompt, you won't know what the character I portray looks like until our scene starts. You'll get to see a reference of her to help us navigate their intimacy, however. As for your character, I'd love to see the references before we start. Is that unfair? Absolutely - but that's the privilege I have as the one who came up with this idea! :D We can discuss looks that fit the vibe of the character you want to go for, of course.
When you reach out, tell me about that: What kind of man you want to portray, why he would be on the show, what your writing style is like, what you are looking forward to. Tell me about your goal here - do you want to write one scene or explore how far we can take it? What kind of women are you into? What kinks do you have, limits we need to avoid... and if you want to impress me, tell me more about your kinks. A list is fine, but something that goes beyond that would be much more appreciated.
