This world was so different to Earth. Magic was everywhere, but with that so where threats. Monsters, raiders, slavers and others made this world one that could easily swallow you whole and spit you out. I was lucky, I fell in with a group who taught me to adventure. I was taught how to use a sword and how to keep myself alive. I got good at that. I was able to make a lot of money and I was smart. I got some status and wealth behind me. And I managed to become someone who mattered. Someone with influence.

And that's when I had to take part in that dark side of this world. Slavery. I was starting to work with some nobles and others. And apparently in this world that class of people had a personal attendant. A combination of bodyguard, helper and status symbol. And now I was getting there I had to get one too. I wasn't thrilled. I was a liberal growing up wnd the idea of thie horrified me. But... well, as my instructor pointed out I wasn't going to to change anything by myself, and better a kind master than a cruel one. So I went to the market and I bought you. Not knowing why till later.

You were a princess. Powerful, beautiful and intelligent. But, well, your family was deposed in a coup. Most of them killed, and you were sent into slavery. It hasn't been easy. You were naked in a cage when I first saw you. All the while that prophecy you heard just before the coup kept on ringing in your ear. There is a great threat to the world coming. You will fall in love with a man from another world and stop it together.

But how would you meet a man from another world? Well, if the gods and fate arrange a coup so you become a slave and put you in my path. Apparently it has happened. I held out a hand to you. Smiling. "Hey, I'm Chris. What's your name? They insist all slaves don't have one but I don't belive that."
