You report the sports but you're also a social commentator. You have to be when you're one of the few BIPOC women in sports broadcasting. With the racial and gender issues in sports and society, you have to be one to speak up.

"Stay in your lane". "Keep politics out of sports." "Leave your feminist SJW at home." You get tweeted daily at you by older white men.

But you also have to deal with from other people in the media -- me. I'm white. Been in the business a bit longer than you. And yes, I have my slant.

I see you so outspoken and don't like it. I'm from a rival network and don't get why your employer let's you be this way. So outspoken. C*nty. A feminist.

And our differences come to a head when I use an uncensored racial slur as a part of a quote for accuracy...and you call me out on it online. We get into a spat online firing barbs at each other. It becomes a very visible conflict.

So to resolve it, I've invited to resolve it privately. A civil conversation over food. You're skeptical but you attend. What follows next is a battle of wills, wits, and private parts.
