Not all that glitters is gold. Appearances are easily faked. It's what I’ve been doing for years now. I am not human. Perhaps at one point I was, perhaps I was always this way, but what flows through my veins now is not that of most men. Perhaps I was corrupted, turned from a normal human into a beast of the night. Or perhaps it was a blessing undisguised, to take me from a mere nobody to someone with power. My nature is hidden from most…but not you. You found me out.

What am I?

Kindred/Vampire: I was embraced once, and suffered my first death. A pretty woman approached me, and when I awoke, I drew breath no longer. From then I was doomed as one of the undead. Its not entirely a raw deal. Immortality is nice, even if I can’t see the sun I once loved. Food is easy to get as well. I’m modern enough to be able to hit a party without going into culture shock, and pretty enough to get the attention from men and women who’re too drunk or high for their own good. Perhaps that is how you found me, with blood dripping from my fangs over some poor woman whose eye I had caught.

Garou/Werewolf: I am a warrior of Gaia. A soldier for a war that few know exists, and even fewer understand. I was never truly human, my mother and father both having been raised in the pack, even if only one was a true Garou, and the other, Kinfolk. I’ve been blessed with Luna’s full blessing, and I sing to her when she is full in the sky. As of recent though, my howling moonsongs have begun to include a second subject. You.

Kithain/Changeling: My parents really should have baptised me. Or sent me to literally any sort of camp. But the fae within was never suppressed, so when they call me asking about when I’m getting serious with life well…they only really have themselves to blame. I’m a blatant hedonist, hopping from bed to bed night by night, regardless of the risk of bedlam, and an ardent painter besides. The latter does help with the former. My brush to canvas is known to be prophetic in my court, yet as of recent, the only face I’ve been able to paint…is you.

What about you though? Who are you, person who knows my secret? The sleeping world stays away from the awake most of the time. Normal people avoid that which doesn’t conform to their narrow world view. Yet you haven’t. You pursue me, which is strange for one of my kind. I’m used to being the hunter, not the hunted.

What are you?

Awakened/Mage: You’re no longer asleep. You woke up one night. Maybe you woke up while high, maybe you woke up while just staring at the corner of a room just right. Maybe you gave yourself the most powerful orgasm imaginable, and it just shattered your perception of reality. Regardless, reality now bends to your will. You divert the stream of consensus reality to obey your demands. Perhaps you need me somehow to increase your powers?

Imbued/Hunter: You were forced to confront the supernatural once. To your credit, you didn’t flinch. You acted, and for that, the messengers shared their power with you. Now, you take the fight to the enemies of humanity, the monsters that lurk in the dark and force your kind to share space with them. I suppose I should just cross my fingers and hope that doesn’t include me?

Sleeper/Human: A sleeper? Really? Although I suppose you aren’t asleep anymore. Somehow, you became aware of the supernatural, about the things that go bump at night. Rather than pretending it didn’t happen and that we don’t exist, you accepted it, showing strength that proven that sometimes the Messengers missed one. What could a sleeper want though, to delve so deep and out of her league.

I suppose a better question is what are we? There’s something between us, whether we wish it or not. Whether fate connects us, or mere obsession, you are in my mind and I am in yours. I cannot stop thinking of you. Why?

What are we?

Soulmates: One soul in two different bodies. Kindred spirits across different species. That’s what we are. A red string of fates connect us. Every touch is electric, and when we’re apart I thirst for your embrace. It's dangerous of course, few of my kin would appreciate such a strong connection to one of yours, but they wouldn’t understand. No one does, except you and me.

Predator and Prey: I fucked up somewhere and the roles between yours and mine have been reversed. No longer am I the predator. Instead, I am prey. I’m bound to you somehow, bound to obey as you use me to further your own goals, whatever they may be. I tell myself no lies, the chance that I’ll get out of this enslavement without dying are slim to none. But what are we to do when emotions begin to spring up between you and me?

Heya! First, allow me to apologize for any weird sentence structure or spelling errors in my message. I typed this all up in the last 2 hours and its currently extremely early in the morning for me! Just let me know and I’ll try to fix it!

Now then! Let’s talk shop. I’m desiring a World of Darkness based and/or themed rp! Knowledge of the setting is not required. Not in the slightest. I’m just in love with the dark supernatural themes the setting has! Ideally, this would also be a romance. I seek out angst like a man in a desert seeks water, so please quench my thirst if you’re so inclined. Enemies to lovers (better yet, Enemies that are lovers), familial drama, anything you’d like, go crazy!

Now here are my requirements. First, good dialogue. I cannot write with someone who can’t write decent dialogue, especially if it doesn’t match the scene. If you can write dialogue that’s accurate to the time period, I will bend over backward for you. Second, be literate. Not just a string of one lines please. I’m not asking for a chapter per reply, but at a minimum, three paragraphs would be ideal! Finally, although this isn’t a hard one, be willing to write on discord! If your response to me absolutely knocks my socks off, I’d be willing to chat about writing here instead, but in most cases, Discord is mandated! In addition, the roleplay will be third person, I just wrote this in first person as it was the way my muse flowed.
