Moon glorious moon. She stares down at me from the void of her throne above. Baleful, bright, full. It's all I can do to not throw my head back and howl from the depth of my soul.

I spot her in the crowd, a crush of people surrounding her. A flash of crimson. Blood red. She moves, sways, arms cavorting like waves. Enticing. She moves like no one else on the dance floor. I watch, my eyes caressing every curve. Mesmerized by her motion. She becomes my obsession, the multitude of other women in the crowd fading into a haze. The tickles of a hunger flutter in my chest. Fire dances down my throat as I take a long sip of strong booze. The ice cube clink, lonely now. I move. Drawn to the dance floor, pulled by the force of her attraction.

Circling through the crowd I draw near. Duck, weave, beat, beat, skip-beat. The movement on the floor is rhythmic, I match hers, water flowing, a sheep among the crowd. When I get near, I draw in a long breath. Drinking oh-so-deep to catch her scent. Sweet. A tasty thing. Another breath, my nose brushing past her hair, savoring, relishing.

Eyes closed now I imagine us in a forest of trees instead of these people. Feral grin, I want to chase her oh so desperately. Want to taste her. Consume her. Wallow in her passion. Vision of rough hands on her red dress, tearing it from her, rending her bare before me. Can almost taste her skin as naked teeth meet tender neck. Can all but imagine the delicious sounds she makes as a hand clenches a fistful of hair, tipping her head back, exposing neck and lips. Blood red lips. A thousand deaths to taste those lips.
