Tasked with being the first (and sometimes only) boots on the ground of newly discovered planets, many strange experiences had occurred. None can compare to what greets you on TP-03. Your prep team told you that the planet was inhabited entirely by plants, and tentacled creatures, which seemed to be ambivalent, if not docile to the probes that had landed ahead of you. These creatures were the main focus of your study here. Mission control had opted to send you alone due to the lack of danger, and scale of the mission. Your landing pod, and home for the next month or two had comms, but that was it. Of special interest were the creatures’ social behaviors and reproductive habits, of which there was little data. Automated video equipment had been supplied to facilitate this study.
