God, I knew I shouldn't have agreed to do this. It stinks like shit in most areas around here. The flies swarm everywhere. Even the food we feed these animals smells.
It all started with my grandfather needing help this summer tending to the animals on his farm. Since this summer is scheduled to be even hotter than before, so the old coot needed help with feeding mainly.
It wasn't all bad. I got paid quite well, and I get free room and board with all access to the kitchen. Having just graduated, I needed to make money somehow. I figured, why not? Live here till mid September, get paid for it, just feed animals and herd them in the barn when a storm was scheduled.
And this place was filled with old relics. Who knew that my grandpa had an hunting rifle lying around? Or a 1970s Harley Davidson Motorcycle? Or... is that a breeding mount?
