In an Alternate World In an Alternate Past.

The Port City of Rubicon. Roughly 10:23pm.

The streets are as quiet as a church service under a night sky the color of radio static. It reminds me of an anthill, where just under the surface there is a chaotic hive of creatures all frantically working until some five year old jackass stomps on it. The common folks, The Gents and Pixies as we call them, are all either awake or about to be echos of a conflict ring out in the distance. About a half an hour ago, the players in this town went to war and these fine people are in the middle of a battlefield. They just don’t know it yet.

My name is Nicolas Stone, and I solve problems. Not problems like ’What is Love?’ or ’How many Cups of Sugar does it take to get to the Moon?’ No, I solve people problems and my solution is usually:

Hurt them.

Then keep hurting them.

Then they die.

But today, I have been tasked with a different sort of problem. One I am… Well, untrained for. Right now I am in the back of a safehouse with a woman, and it's my job to protect her. Now, it's not like I haven't played bodyguard before but this one is special.

After the first shots were fired, I was ready to go out and carve myself a bloody path into the enemy stronghold. But apparently I am a victim of my own success, and my deadly reputation earned me a gig guarding my boss's daughter. Not just my boss's daughter, oh no, the boss's daughter.

I've heard stories about what the boss does to men who step out of line around her, and they are the type of things you tell around freaking campfires. I heard she got drunk and let a guy cope a feel, and that man is still getting fingers mailed back to him. So now I'm trapped in a room with her, and I don't know which one of us is more dangerous.

When I can pull myself away from the window, I catch her staring at me. I'm willing to admit that I don't know the exact workings of a woman like her, but I can tell it can't be good. It doesn't help that she is…

Fuck, okay I'll say it. She's a bombshell! Hourglass figure! Gorgeous hair! Soft looking lips that I bet do way more than kiss goodnight. She is a total package, and if making a move wasn't a death sentence I'm certain she'd be fighting men off with a stick.

Hello! This is a prompt I’ve been thinking about for a long time and I wanted to see if anyone else might be interested. Usually I deal with younger folks in the spring of their lives, but I wanted to do a more grounded RP with an Older Man of Violence forced to watch over the bratty daughter of his Criminal Boss. I feel like this is more just one scene, but if we have chemistry and we can come up with how to keep this going I’d love to see how this progresses.

Location: Welcome to Rubicon! In the real world, I would say it’s closest to Chicago during the 1920s. Gangsters, Sin, and Vice nestle deep within the heart of the city, like worms buried in the core of an apple. I am happy to shape the world myself, but I absolutely love shared world building! Who are the key players in this den of iniquity besides your father? Who belongs to who? What sort of cruel machinations work in the shadows of the City of No Return?

Character Dynamic Questions: Off the bat, how does your character feel about your life as the daughter of one of the largest crime syndicates on the Coast? Does your character go to school? Does she sneak out to party? Is she a Bubbly Candy Apple, or a Pompous Ice Queen? Is this her first romance, or has she seen a few boys behind her father’s back?

Your Character (Early 20’s): Personality wise, you are the untouchable princess of the Mob, so take that as you will. I am leaning towards a girl who uses her untouchably as a weapon, taking what she wants while always threatening to tell her Daddy her version of things. Real Harley Quinn energy. But physically, I am largely open to anything! The only stipulation is that my character found you extremely attractive, so that leaves a lot of wiggle room. In general, I like women with larger breasts, but if you have a particular character you want to play we can hammer out the details. I am fine with all nationalities and skin colors. I love it when people have a particular character concept at the start, so please feel free to send me your ideas.

My Character: Nicolas “Nicky” Stone aka "Grave" Stone, 25-35 Years Old, 6'3" and built wide like a lumberjack (Little bit of weight, but enough muscle underneath to not be considered fat). A man not quick to violence, but tempered by it. Dark brown hair with a trimmed beard to match, thin black glasses. Tattooed to all hell, and smokes like a chimney. Tonight he is wearing a suit, gatsby hat, and leather boots. He also has a knife, a set of brass knuckles, and a snub nose .38 special.

Preferred Method of Communication: In general I very much prefer to use Discord over Reddit as I find the Reddit chat/PM system to be lacking. Concerning post length, I generally go for 2-3 paragraphs minimum and I would like the same in my partner. I am not a stickler for it and it is a-okay if the post lengths are dynamic but if you only reply with one or two sentences I don’t think this will work for us.

Frequency of Response: Listen, we are both adults here. We both are busy people and I don’t expect this to be your only focus in life. If we both get two really good posts every few hours or at least one really detailed post a day, that is fine by me. This is supposed to be fun, and we should both treat it as such.
