Many years ago (like 10 or so) when I was a teen. I used to be super social online. I made so many friends; I even managed to get up to some naughty messages with a very pretty American girl. Life soon got in the way and I deleted everything. Recently I've tried to become more social online once again but it seems everyone is trying to promote their OF or some form of Dropbox or something. I miss the old days. I miss those old friends and their group chats and all the online platforms there was. I miss the socialising I was able to do with people being genuine. The internet was a great place for a misfit like me to belong and it got me through some very dark times but now it's just become awful and I don't understand what happened to cause this transition.

I sound so old (I'm 26) but I miss those old days and the old internet where people could be misfits and wear their heart on their sleeves.
