Best diplomacy website for new players?

Hi! Myself and a group of friends want to get into Diplomacy but none of us have played it before. We started with playdiplomacy, but are getting frustrated because the interface provides no guidance on what is or isn't a legal move - it's really not useful for us because people keep getting 'unfair' advantages through the website making it seem as though a move is ok.
I've seen lots of recommendations for Diplomacy websites around here but none that mention whether the website provides any guidance in this area.
