Every week on the Queens of the Stone Age subreddit we take a dive into a band that has collaborated with, has influenced, has been influenced by or has toured with Josh Homme and our very own desert rockers.
This week we take a look at a band that has a 35 year legacy of being underappreciated leaders in Alt Rock. They are quirky, unique, and laid back while at the same time able to hook you with crazy good riffs, thumping bass lines, and pounding drums. You just gotta experience them.
The one-time bassist for Dinosaur Jr., Mike Johnson, is connected to Queens of the Stone Age. He was the band's very first bassist at their premiere gig in Seattle. Plus Dinosaur Jr. toured with Josh Homme's first band, Kyuss, way back in the day.
Come check out the write up! You may learn something new, or you may have something cool to contribute. Look forward to reading any comments that you'd like to add to help Queens fans appreciate Dinosaur Jr.
See you there!
