I am not a developer so I don't know how difficult it is to create a game with asynchronous play, but why do so few iOS and Android board games support it? I'm just wondering what the limiting factor on implementing it in more games is. I've never used pass & play on any of my devices, and am rarely able to commit the time necessary for a whole game of SmallWorld or Ticket to Ride online, and I think that asynchronous turns would be a major selling point for the digital forms of most board games.
And if you know of some good games with asynchronous play please let me know! Thanks!
