New to the DN life - timezones and full time work questions
Post Body

So I'm in my early 30s and FINALLY landed a gig that allows me to work remotely --but its a very small salary sadly. I've dreamed of international travel for a very long time, but have only been to Canada and Mexico (from the US).

I'm open to any and all advice on how to make digital nomad-hood work. I still have to work 8 hours between 7am-7pm EST. I have a number of additional freelance gigs that would require at least a few hours' work on top of that.

I'd love to travel around the world, but I'm wondering if I should try a short-term run instead? Maybe something in a time zone near my regular hours right now to try out? My dream destinations are Dublin, Scotland, Bath, Prague, Bali, Thailand, Taiwan, Italy, Germany/Austria. Most of those are developed and probably too pricey for long-term.

That brings me to this... budget. How many of you are traveling full-time on a budget? I'm thinking less than $30k a year? I'm wondering if this is do-able.

Thanks so much!
