First time solo traveling, around 3 months in Europe and only have a one way ticket, could this be an issue?

Hey all, not really a digital nomad but I know you guys travel a lot to Europe and other places and maybe can help me with some of my questions, like the title says I'm traveling soon to Europe for my first solo trip ever, I'll be there almost 3 months, I got a one way ticket with Turkish Airlines, departing from the USA with a stopover in Istanbul with final destination in Bucharest, and from there I'll travel to other countries. I was just wondering if this can be an issue? Can I be refused to board the plane or enter Romania because I don't have a return ticket? The reason I didn't get one is because I don't know exactly when I'll be returning, it could be 2 or 3 months.

Also I'll be traveling with my backpack and a carry on, what's been your experience moving around and taking the trains with this set up?

Finally, any tips for a newbie embarking on his first solo trip? I'll be visiting Bucharest, some other Romanian cities (Braศ™ov, Sibiu, Cluj and Oradea), then Budapest, Vienna, Prague, and maybe Brussels and London.

Thank you so much for any help.
