Just wanted to take a minute to say thanks to the DN community.
While I've lived abroad before for many years, this was the first time doing it while working 100% remotely.
I moved to Bogota about 1.5 weeks ago, and am doing off-market commercial real estate sales nationwide in US and in select oversea markets. Despite not knowing anyone here in Colombia or speaking the language, I've managed to make some good contacts in my short time here, and getting into the swing of things hasn't been difficult.
This is my first time staying in an AirBnB too. The place is great, it's in a great area, with good internet connection and a host that is an infinite source of knowledge for someone like myself who is new to the country.
The prices still amaze me here. I can get a coffee, fresh squeezed OJ, and 2 pastries for breakfast for the price of about $2.25-$2.50 - so if you're looking to reduce expenses, definitely a place worth checking out.
Not sure what else to say other than thanks to everyone who is active in this community and answered my question.
I welcome any and all questions or comments the DN community has!
