is there any way to use MacBook as a travel router? I have wiregaurd installed but it doesn't use the same VPN IP when I share my internet

Hi everyone,
Technical question. Is it possible to share my MacBook VPN connection to other devices? I have successfully configured wiregaurd on my MacBook Pro (M1) and I used my wifi but it didn't use the wiregaurd VPN IP. Is there anyway to share the same IP to connected devices? Will it work if I just use ethernet connect to my other laptop instead of wifi?
