i have a diploma in Music Business Administration. I have taken Communications courses, event planning, networking & personal selling, a couple graphic design courses, a general marketing and music marketing course, and publicity and promotions (a marketing course basically that focuses on learning different methods of promotion both digital and traditional like hootsuite, mailchimp, etc., how to develop and format promotional material, and different skills/techniques used by marketers/publicists. i have also taken a digital business course which focuses on HTML/5, CSS/3, web publishing, SEO, and social media. i graduated about 6 years ago so i’d definitely have to do some refreshing, but i would love to get into digital marketing. all of my job experience comes from retail and hands on selling, and i’d love a new challenge, but i don’t really want to go back to school. i’ve done reading online and on reddit but a lot of the posts are old. so i guess i’m looking for advice on how i can get into digital marketing without getting a degree or going back to school. i don’t know if this helps, but i do have experience in marketing myself in the sense of content creation (onlyfans). when inwas active and putting the work in, i was in the top 4.2%. but i don’t really feel that i can put that on a resume lol.
