Was hype to dig into the Vital Bracket App, only to find out my phone has no NFC. Any advice?

So I had my Vital Bracket for a few days and been enjoying it. Was finally going to connect it to the app to beat that challenge, only to find out my phone has no NFC and can't connect to my VB at all. I'm not sure what to do.

I have a Moto G Power which has no NFC chip. I looked online and some places say SD cards could give NFC but looking up "NFC SD Card" on Amazon, and it just gave me a bunch of normal ones. Are they NFC capable and would that signal be strong enough if it does have one?

Should I just bite the bullet and get a new phone? Id like to avoid it but idk if there are other alternatives.
