It's gonna leave a bitter feeling for everyone, since the most of the questions regarding the plot will still remain (and unlikely to be solved). Thought that TOEI, of all people, should know that you can't squeeze the plot with 9 characters in what equals 24 episodes anime.

• What they did to Davis, Yolei, Cody, and Ken has very negative effect on Tai, Kari, and the rest but especially those two. Tai is someone who cares for Davis like younger brother and Davis looks up to him as role model, not a heartless person who forgets about him and goes on without doing anything. Yolei gives Kari courage and willpower to standup for herself, not to remain a person who allows darkness to consume her, and yet Kari doesn't even remember her. Memory-wiping evil Yggdrasil won't save them from this bad characterization (when they remember Ken).

• Takato > Daigo on many levels, including of being a better boyfriend who supports you after losing your Digimon and encourages you to be strong. Even if Jeri is given a chance to bring Leomon back by suspicious figure, she will not act on her impulse, but consult with her friends first before deciding whether or not to accept such offer.

• If they can't really think of the plot with 01/02, they could've just go with "03" aka the 2nd gen (children of Tai and the rest). Starting with new gen allows new plot and no bad characterization. Interesting world building too.

• Wallace. Just wish he could appear in the main series.

• Meiko should also be with 02 group instead of 01 since her character flows better there.

• Lastly, just wish that there is a proper 50 something episodes instead of 6 movies that span 3-4 past years (and equal 24 episodes). Also, Appmon's character design, while doesn't resemble the older series, actually works better than Tri's.
