Medical Abbreviations Eliminated/Prohibited?
Post Body

I'm an RD that was working in an outpatient setting for the last couple of years- up until the second wave of the pandemic. I'm teaching medical terminology this coming semester to LPN and other health science students. I came across [this article](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK519006/) in PubMed that talks about complete elimination of medical abbreviations- can anyone confirm if anything like this has been happening in their practice setting?
