I'm looking to get the process going for my CDE. I have been logging my hours for all of my pertinent DM ed but wanted to make sure I was counting it all correctly. I usually count however long my encounter was with the patient and then some time for noting the encounter. Reading through the CBDCE handbook it has a list of actions I can count towards the needed experience but I want to make sure that I am counting everything. Besides the time taught to the patient and the charting time, is there anything else that you all count towards the needed 1,000 hour experience?
