hi all! I am a new RD of about 2 months and I work inpatient acute care. my hospital’s ICU is transitioning into a second unit, therefore some beds are overflowing onto the med-surg unit I usually cover.
tomorrow we are doing a second ICU rounding team and I’m the first one to do this. I still am a little slow at figuring things out (esp tube feeds) and I’m nervous I’m going to embarrass myself in front of the rest of the medical team.
my co workers gave an ICU crash course and are available to help but I’m still nervous. advice?
