between two jobs
Post Body

I am a recent grad, not yet dietitian but soon hopefully!

I took a prn acute care job and start on Monday. However, I just got a job offer for a full time retail dietitian job and the pay is great.

I really want to work full time and that’s a major push for the retail RD job. But I love clinical.

I have to decide on the retail job by Monday and my FIRST day (orientation) is also Monday. Is it unethical or disrespectful to contact my manger at the acute care job that day and let them know I’m deciding to take another job?

I understand the decision is up to me but i’m curious if anyone has any insight on either job or the situation if I switch jobs
