I'Ve alwas been a yoyo dieter, as long I can remember it was "I'm going to get fit for ...." back in the late 90's it was muscle n fitness, body for life. Weight watchers, Jenny Craig, Some protein based diet buying premade foods., ideal protein that was it.
I have dropped 50 lbs 3-4 times in my adult life. I won healthy wage or should I say I dropped 50lbs to win 1200.00 bucks.
Most recently last year my insurance denied me ozempic and all the latest weight loss meds. My insurance says me being fat is self induced and it is not covered (BCBS) . I found someone that was prescribed ozempic that wasn't taken it and I scored a 4 month supply. ( i know it is illegal and not smart ) let me tell you it was the best thing since sliced bread. I dropped 60 lbs in 4 months.
Since I stopped my hunger has been in overdrive. I'm close to back to my pre-diet weight of 250 standing at 5-6 and 47 YO it is not a good look. I have high blood pressure.
I wake up and say thins is the day, I will not have any coffee ,I will start back my IF routine. I have one pair of pants that fit and 2 shirts. I even tried a compound pharmacy which I paid out the nose for that (3 months) I felt like I wasn't taken anything, complete waste) . I have a good job and make great money (sales)
On ozempic my hunger was zero, For those that never taken it you can not even start to comprehend what it does for you. It was what I needed.
Now I'm spiraling out of control and have been for 4 months ,I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack or stroke. I just can't stop!! As we speak, I have a coke and rum on my desk, and If I say what I have eaten tonight, it is embarrassing.
I know about nutrition, I could prob write up a diet and excise program for someone. Something in me is saying EAT. I'm not sure what I'm asking I just do not know what to do. My wife is on Wegovy ( different insurance) and her DR suggested I talk to my DR about Wellbutrin.
