Recently started playing, and this question came up between some friends:

Is Green Goblin/Prof. X's power stackable with more of the same die?

The power reads: "While Professor X is active, your Sidekicks get 1A and 1D (no matter how many Professor X dice you have fielded)."

I read this to say that if you have 2 or more Prof X dice fielded, your sidekicks will still only get 1/1, to a max of 2/2. However, there was an ambiguity with Johnny Storm.

Johnny's power says: "While Human Torch is active, each time you field a character, Human Torch deals 1 damage to your opponent and one to a target character (not 1 damage per Human Torch die)."

Why does he not say "(no matter how many Human Torch dice you have fielded)?"

I still think that the Prof X bonus is non-stackable. But others I know aren't so sure, because of the way that Johnny is worded. Anybody know of an official ruling somewhere, or have insight they could provide?
