Is there such a thing as a portable haemodialysis machine?
Post Body

Hi all,

I've been undergoing hemodialysis for approximately 18 months and am currently waiting on a house move that will allow me the space needed to have home dialysis.

While this might seem like an unusual question, I'm curious about the portability of home dialysis machines. Prior to my treatment, I frequently traveled across the country for short holidays and work, so I'm optimistic that switching to home dialysis could restore some of my travel freedom, if I can take my machine with me?

I live in the UK but would greatly appreciate insights from everyone.

Thank you all for any help or insight you can provide.
