Quill volley mythic vs overpower

Just a general question. Iām pretty far along in my quill volley build paragon 135 and Iām thinking the overpower version might be better/ more fun as damage is eh for me right now in T3. However, is this build dependent on managerist bonuses on the paragon board? I.e. do I need to grind a lot of paragon before switching out my gear?
