Red Skull on all my stuff and it’s weaker?

Just turned the game on to see my haul from the dungeon and all my stuff has a red skull and all my stats are super low, my attack went from 800 to 150? Am I still as powerful just the power system changed or something?
Edit: just in case any other noobs are asking themselves the same question today the world scaled with my power so my armor is not useless as I was worried about.
