So I've ran Vault of Stone 3 times now, and each times I've dumped a number of pearls of warding into the statue at the second part. The first time I put 5 pearls in, finished with 46 stacks. The second time I was curious was my cap was, dumped 86 pearls in, finished with 858 stacks. And this last time, I put in 3 pearls, finished with 30 stacks.

So what I don't understand is the chests that require pearls to open. All three times, once I get to the end and beat the boss room, I open my greater resplendent chest, then go into the little side room and have 2 chests. One is normal, one requires 1 Warding to open.

Does having higher stacks affect the loot? Do any chests require more than 1 to open? I'm not a huge Diablo player, at least not as far as technical details and such, so any help would be great.
