Blizzard if you want players engaged, don't develop a game where 99% of your playtime is LEVELING!!!

Post Body

I remember playing Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn for the first time. My first MMORPG. I was an rpg fan my whole life but never could afford a PC.

I turned on the PS4 and told myself "I finally get to experience what all my friends that play WoW get to"... then 40 hours later I was in shock...

I still wasn't level 50 (max level)... part of me felt like it was taking too long, but the other part of me was saying "Shut up, this storyline is amazing, just enjoy the ride"... soo I did.

I hit Lvl 45 and unlocked the Artifact Gear quest.. I remember the feeling of earning that gear to this day.

As I approached 50 (farming FATES aka Open World Events in D4) I got a bit sad thinking the ride was about to be over.

Then I hit 50 and the game, somehow just got bigger and better. I had never played a MMO. I had no idea what End Game was... all I ever played was secret bosses in Final Fantasy or a New Game in Ninja Gaiden.

I say all that to say this... BLIZZARD if you are making a game where 99% of the time its a grind to max level, and YOU KNOW there's only 1 thing to do at max level... either make the campaign REMARKABLE or DONT market the game with this notion of an End Game.

It's fun to interact with the seasonal mechanic, but not if ever season I have to re-grind to 100... maybe once you hit 100 with class, you can start a Season at lvl 50 with that class?
