So if I have a piece of Ancestral Gear and I’m imprinting a regular legendary aspect on to it, say for ease of the question, I’m imprinting an aspect that adds 1000 dmg and the range of the damage on the aspect is [500-1000 dmg], so it’s at the max for the regular legendary aspect. When I go to imprint on to an ancestral gear piece, the preview of the new piece of gear says it will deal 1000 dmg, but the range it shows on the projected new ancestral legendary has a range that jumps up to [2000-3000 dmg]. Will the new gear piece still only have the 1000 dmg which would be below the range minimum for that new piece of gear, or will the damage jump the 1000 dmg up to meet the 2000 dmg minimum when I imprint? Is it because I’m trying to imprint a regular legendary aspect vs a sacred or ancestral aspect that it will be that low, and the preview is showing me what the range would be had I used an ancestral aspect?
Sorry if that’s confusing, I basically am imprinting on to an ancestral piece of gear but the new piece of gear’s aspect result is below the minimum range for that result showing on the preview of the imprinted ancestral gear. Will the actual result jump to meet that minimum shown in the range, or will it imprint the result as is, below the minimum, and I should instead be searching for an ancestral version of that aspect to get the higher value range?
I hope that makes sense.
