Potentially lost saves... HALP!!

Ok, so apparently my Xbox profile wasn't connected with my battlenet account
When I did this and restarted my game, all of my previous saves were gone
Is there any way to get them back? If not, what's the fastest way to level up to about 55ish
I wasn't too terribly far in the game, only on nightmare at level 53 with no gear worth keeping, so it's not a HUGE loss, more of a disappointment
Any help would be appreciated
