Pharmacist and doctor are adding Jardiance to my daily routine. I've had better control of my sugars during the day, going from 400-500 earlier this year to now averaging in the low 220s over the last month.
I take Novalog 3x a day based on an adjusting scale from 8 and Lantus from a now held 36 once daily. All of these are done during the day and from 8am until about midnight my numbers are decent. From midnight until I take my first insulin shots around 6:30 to 7:15am run in the upper 200s into the low 300s overnight.
Hence the adding of Jardiance 10mg. My question is that this is a morning drug so won't that potentially drop my numbers much lower and maybe into dangerous levels, why not take the Jardiance at night?
