I know that I need a cgm to know how it affects me personally, but it’s a process as I was just diagnosed. I have been using allulose to sweeten my beverages. I cannot tolerate the taste of most artificial sweeteners. I can tolerate the sugar alcohols and I can tolerate allulose. That’s about it. Many of them will actually trigger migraines for me, which is just as well because the taste is intolerable.
But I keep getting mixed reviews with allulose and the sugar alcohols. Some people say that they spike their bg and others say that they don’t. Is there an overall trend? (Like maybe 80% one way or the other, it will or won’t spike?)
