I just looked through my records, apparently my number are MUCH better from two years ago!! They are considered "borderline high" and are 20 points lower than they were before my diabete diagnosis last year. My A1C for those playing along from home has gone down from 6.8 to 6.1 in 18 months. Worth noting I have had significant steroid injections 3-4 times during this period as well as taking NSAIDS on and off.
So it looks like my AIC and my cholesterol are both going down (no meds for either). Will keep tweaking this... it's a slow process, as in the weight loss and the walking, but it slowly improves.
