Hi reddit friends! I’ve been seeing lots of content online that talk about reversing T2 diabetes. I consulted with a couple of doctors and I was told that it’s not possible to reverse it once we have it. In both occasions, I’ve always been told to continue the medication and make some diet changes (which I do).
Admittedly, I’m too tired of poking myself for insulin and sugar monitoring everyday, not to mention the oral medicines I have to take so I would like it very much if I can “fix” my insulin resistance.
I’m also considering holistic health approaches. Thank you, I’m looking forward to hearing your stories. :)
EDIT: Thank you everyone for your comments, I couldn’t reply to all but I read them. It’s been a month now since I did a 360 change on my diet and I can see good results in my glucose. I’m also doing 18:6 fasting. I pray to have the strength to continue this (it’s really hard for a busy person like me). I hope my doctor will remove my insulin and just put me on oral meds. Thank you again. 🙏 😊
