Fungal infections on skin
Post Body

I've been t1 diabetic for 3 years now and have discovered that since my diagnosis I've been developing dry itchy patches on my skin.

Two years ago I had two on my arm and hand, and they took many months to fully go away. Now, I've gotten them again on the top part of both my feet. My a1c has been 8, for context, and I feel that it's decent for a high school student like me. It could've been way worse.

I've ordered anti fungal cream as per the suggestion of my school nurse, and I hope it'll work. She said that diabetics are more prone to fungal infections like this. It's so annoying. They randomly flare up and get super itchy.

Have any of you had similar issues?
