I have had the opportunity recently to test the sensors for the Freestyle Libre 2 after exposure to several tests/scans (thanks to being a medical disaster). The directions with the device state it needs to be removed and not trusted following any exposure but my personal results were:
Multiple back x rays - no impact on sensor
Chest x-rays - no impact on sensor
CT scan of chest and abdomen - no impact on sensor
Fluoroscopy of opposite side of the body (right chest with sensor on left arm) - no impact on sensor
Fluoroscopy lasting 1.5 minutes on the arm with the sensor - sensor crashed shortly afterwards
Iām not sure if I will be allowed to test what happens to it at my scheduled MRI (or if Iām brave enough to even want to try testing it).
Of course, these were my experiences and ymmv.
