Hi I’m a type one diabetic on an insulin pump (Humolog fast acting) I don’t take slow acting insulin but I’ve been having this weird issue where anytime I add more insulin say for food or correction I can taste the smell of insulin in the back of my throat, it’s been happening for awhile now and my educator and endocrinologist can’t figure it out and I’m so lost cause it’s absolutely awful. I don’t know if I can explain it better but I basically have a taste in the back of my mouth that’s similar to the smell of insulin. Any help is greatly appreciated and I will answer any question to help best of my ability!
