First, I'm the tie one on guy. I "tied one on" to the tune of 6 beers yesterday and I was trashed. Tolerance must have dropped due to the calorie intake I'm implementing as well. Blood sugar was below 130 every time I tested.
But here's what I don't understand. This is my 7th day of testing. At 11:30 a.m. before lunch it was 219. Highest it's been since I tested, with (almost literally) no change in my daily eating routine compared to other days. One hour later, again before lunch, I tested again and its 146. I've been eating small breakfast and healthy style snacks 3-4 times up to this point. That before lunch reading has typically been more like the 146 than the 219. In fact, this is my first 200 since diagnosis on July 6.
Why such a rapid precipitous drop? Is that just the way it is? Where even if I create the exact same day with exact same foods at exact same time, the sugars can be different? Can yesterday affect today? My overnight fasting reading was 148, which is a little higher than my average for that time of day.
