Tonight I was getting pizza and a dude leaned over and did the whole “I really don’t mean to be rude..” and I was like ooooh it’s gonna be a good one. (Some background: I have a pokeball sticker on my dex)

The couple of questions/comments

“Is that pokeball thing to help you work through an addiction?” (Yes kind sir. My addiction to NOT DYING)

“I didn’t know if it was part of a new game”-the obvious rebound (I sure hope not. Cause honestly a bunch of dumb kids would 100% buy into the needle-under-skin-makes-the-game-more-authentic idea...)

-looks at his wife (who doesn’t speak much english) disappointedly- “nah she’s just diabetic”

The best part: this is all happening while I am legit checking my sugar and doing my insulin. I can only begin to imagine what he must have thought I was shooting up with 😂😂
