Last night for dinner I went from 128 before to 135 after. I had a post meal snack that had 18g protein, 37g carbs, 5g fiber, and 11g fat. I didn’t check after. I did my nighttime routine and went to bed.
This morning I woke up around 6:30am and didn’t eat until 9am. During that time I relaxed in bed a bit, did my morning routine, and prepared breakfast. I sat down to eat and checked my sugar. I haven’t had anything to eat or drink since waking and my sugar was 140. On Tuesday for endo bloodwork my fasting was 101 and the week before for my pcp it was 99. My a1c is 5.9%. A little surprising. Has this happened to anyone before?
Edit: after posting I checked on my other hand 15 minutes after eating and it read 134
