I was diagnosed as diabetic about 3 months ago, and I’m pretty sure I’m type 2, although the doc never specified. At this point I’m using 1 mg of ozempic weekly and 25 units of lantus daily.
I tend to skip breakfast, and often lunch and even occasionally dinner, but my doctor has said “you need to eat!” I used keto previously to lose weight, and I’ve gotten used to not eating unless I feel the need to. I don’t eat because I’m hungry, I eat to fuel my body.
I do snack on lower carb options when I feel the need.
Am I hurting myself as a diabetic by not eating more regularly?
