I use a libra 3 CGM, and this one is running very close to the numbers I get with a finger stick after compensating for a 15-20 minute delay.
I just got back from a camping trip yesterday where I was much more active than usual. I ate more carbs than usual while away to compensate and I don’t think I went over 180 the entire time.
This is from last night to right before I started making this post. I am a night owl, and so I was up late last night and had a few snacks right before bed around 3 am. I had a decent # of carbs in that time, maybe 35-40g total, most of them simple carbs.
When I woke up around 8 I was in the 90’s, but it dropped to the 50’s by 830. I did a finger stick at that point, which read at 66 which correlates to about 15 minutes earlier which leads me to believe the CGM was reading correctly. At that point I ate 6 grams of carbs in the form of a 1/4 of a Hershey’s chocolate bar.
An hour and a half later I’m over 200. I don’t see how it could have risen so much with only 6g. I tend to wake up in the 120-140 range typically.
