It's been 2 weeks so far and I think I've gone through all the stages of grieving 🤣
It was hard to hear and it's been very overwhelming.. I don't know how many days I've cried on and off. I was barely eating cus I was scared. The Dr was not really any help.. just here is your pills eat a good clean diet and exercise.. then said see you in 3 months. She did put in for a diabetic educator so.. I am waiting on being contacted. I bought my own glucose monitor and my reading at the Dr was 189 but it's now now to the 100s with only 2 high spikes so far (157 and 181) I've been doing the low carb diet and exercising and am taking my metformin er 500mgs.
So 🤞🏻 hoping that my A1C of 6.9 will go down with continuing being strict on the no sugar and eating healthy!
Thankfully I am not alone on my journey since most people in my family are diabetic and so are some friends. ♥️
Though I would love to make new friends and hope we can be supportive of one another on our journeys to getting into remesion 🤞🏻.
Thanks for reading
✌🏻♥️
