44 year old male T1 since mid 20s Manage with Omnipod and Dexcom G6 I just need to fucking rant a bit about how impossible it seems to be for me to keep my BG within range. The impression that I get on here is that there are people out there who can keep their BG in rage for 80 - 100% of the time. The best that I seem to be able to do is 60% for a day or 2 at most. I try to eat as healthy as I can, I exercise, I try to follow my patterns and am constantly making adjustments but EVERYTHING effects by BG levels. The fucking weather, my mood and stress level, the dreams I have at night, my exercise routine, where I put my Pod. As soon as I think I might have shit nailed down everything changes again. I don’t know if I’m just uniquely incompetent or my diabetes is uniquely difficult to manage or what the fuck. My body is quite literally trying to kill me. I have diabetic retinopathy. I have ED. I fucking don’t need any more complications to have to fucking deal with. I’m fucking at my wits end. Not sure what else I can fucking do but keep trying to manage it the best I can and hope for the best. Probably going to die of a massive heart attack before I’m fucking 70. FML.
