Are RYZEN CPUs good for programming and dev

Hi Everyone, I need to buy a new laptop, I'm thinking of going with Ryzen one but I'm confused if it has any compatible issues with programming softwares or overall dev.
Mainly for programming in java, python, js on different ide's
Also, softwares like docker, kubernetes or ai/ml related model stuff.
Any pointers would be appreciated
